Course overview

This 5-day course provides system managers with the skills and knowledge to manage an HP NonStop S-series server. After completing this course, you will understand the hardware and software architecture of the NonStop S-series server. You will be able to start, monitor and shut down your system and its subsystems. You will be able to make alterations to the server configuration and to fallback from the changes to a previous configuration. You will learn to identify and resolve common problems. Where resolution is unsuccessful, you will be able to escalate to the appropriate service provider with the suitable supporting information.Note: this course incorporates subjects from our NonStop S-Series Problem Management course and our NonStop S-Series Production Management course.
