- Question #1 (For Customers) : My company is still using vSphere4, so should I take
- HH633s vSphere: ICM [v4] or
- HL235s vSphere: ICM [v5]?
The ICM course is focused on getting you skilled up to manage small to medium sized deployments of vSphere. Almost all of what you learn in the version 5 course is relevant to the version 4 environment, plus your instructor should be able to point what is new and different from the previous version. The majority of the major enhancements in vSphere 5.0 are covered in follow-on courses to ICM and also the HL234s What’s new course. As such, you should plan on taking vSphere: ICM[v5] to gain skills that are relevant to your environment while learning a little more on the new features in the most current version.
