Course overview
This 5 day course provides prepress professionals with the knowledge and skills to build and load jobs to an HP Indigo Digital Press. Topics covered will relate to the Industrial market place. This will include focus on the HP Indigo tool, Yours Truly Designer. Instruction will then concentrate on Industrial based applications commonly utilized by label and screen printers such as Illustrator, and Photoshop. Finally attention will be directed toward multi-color file manipulation, barcodes and security printing. The course provides 40 percent lecture and 60 percent hands-on.
Prerequisites
Minimum of 1 year digital prepress experience Macintosh or PC
Working knowledge of QuarkXPress 7.x or
Working knowledge of the Adobe CS suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
Audience
