Course overview

The level three course is a service level maintenance & repair training program for shared maintenance operators, and is a hands-on course. The course focuses on the interaction and function of the mechanical, electronic, fluid, imaging and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo press 5000. Participants will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, and maintenance skills to resolve problems, install SW patches and implement hardware FCO’s (field change orders). The course will introduce more advanced topics, and review the important fundamental adjustments within the press.


Prerequisites

A person who meets requirements for the FSE Level course has a background of
  • Has successfully completed the Shared training program for the HP Indigo press 5000 Press: UC399S
  • A minimum of four months experience the HP Indigo press 5000 Press is preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical & electronics, system schematics and PC/ Windows
  • Has good mechanical repair skills

Audience

Qualified HP Indigo digital press Shared Customers who will be required to perform service routines that include repair, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on the HP Indigo press 5000.
