Course overview
This course is a service level maintenance & repair training program for shared maintenance operators, and is a hands on course. The course focuses on the operation, interaction and theory of function of the mechanical, electronic, process, pneumatic, fluid, heat transfer, PLC, motion control and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo press WS4XXX. Participants will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance skills to resolve problems, install SW patches and implement hardware field change orders.
Prerequisites
A person who meets requirements for the Field Service Engineer (FSE) level course has a background of:
Has successfully completed the shared maintenance training program for the ws4XXX press: U8510S
A minimum of four months experience the ws4XXX press is preferred
Must have Laptop, running Microsoft Windows 2000-XP with available Serial Port
Knowledge of electrical & electronics, system schematics and PC/ Windows
Has a good mechanical repair skills
Be able to perform repair, troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance on complex electromechanical devices and computers
Audience
Qualified HP Indigo digital press shared customers who will be required to perform service routines that include repair, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on the ws4000-ws4050-ws4500 presses
